Nobody within a minute of the Mercedes Works team, again. Silver Arrows drove away again. The cars sounds terrible. Drive terrible. Look terrible. Nobody like Prius Racing. Nobody. Even Hamilton is unhappy and he's winning!
Bleh. Save F1!

Formula make sure you watch your fuel.

Its really a two horse race. But Hamilton seems to be much better in the car than rosberg. I don't mind the cars really. If they were just more evenly matched I'd be fine.

What if the only thing all the cars have in common were the fuel pump? That way they are all limited in how much fuel the can use as effectively as possible. :D

Might be an idea to put this behind a spoiler warning for now. Standard practice on oppo at least :)
(Not that the outcome of the race is a surprise for anybody)

Oh, I miss these days: skip to 30:21

F1 doesn't need saving from anything except grumpy old fans

(Massive sarcasm to follow) What are you talking about, the FIA just created some of the Closest racing we've seen in at least a decade. AND Now we can expect to have some sort of ERS trickle down to our street cars. Mmhm. Also there isn't domination by a single team like RB did, no not at all.
In a word. Most of us agree with you.

"disgruntled" is more like it. But even Bernie and Ferrari were complaining (not that there's a difference). Putting aside the terrible noise, the racing is broken . If the race was 10 more laps Mercedes may have lapped the entire field. That's bad right?

And that noise- its the sound of progress!

1988 is calling. They have the best car and will dominate this year, but, it's only one year

Going to be a long sad year. The concern is the current FIA "leadership" will double down on this nonsense, despite the fans, sponsors and track owners hating it. Reminds me of Acura's arrogant designer stating that he knows the customers don't like the Acura Beak, but he will make them like it.
On the bright side- Martini livery is back. Just need Marlboro now. If we can have booze sponsors we should allow all the vices equally.

.......so basically you're mad because mercedes is walking away with everything for a chance instead of red bull or ferrari? Why don't you give it a season instead of whining that the new rules caused some racing to happen behind the usual team that walks away with everything? Nothing about there being a dominant team is new to F1. At all. Not even close. It's been like that for decades. Sure some years are quite close but this is NOTHING new to the sport at all. It hasn't been "ruined" you just ignored the past 50 years to suit your argument better. Remember the active suspension williams car? Or the "traction controlled" benetton? Or the all powerful Ferrari years? Or the Brawn diffusers? I believe about half the past 20 F1 championships were won with ease by a team that was simply better than everyone else and the only title competition was between the two drivers on that team *if* that even happened.

I'm hoping McLaren will go with the Red and white regardless

A hypothetical tear shed for progress. They Schoenberged F1- kind of an old reference but it's the best I could do on short notice.

Maybe Renault and Ferrari can someday into not sucking?
